Lake Monroe Bike Ride & Walk
Get Your Feet Wet on a Middle Basin Bike Ride and Walk! The morning will start with a 5 mile bike ride along the Lake Monroe area of the St. Johns River taking the Sanford Riverwalk. We will then do an interactive walk and talk to visit Gemini Springs (less than ¼ of a mile). We will bike back to our starting place, for a total of a 10 mile ride.
Attendees can enjoy fellowship and a tasty lunch and spirits at Sanford Brewing Company (400 Sanford Avenue) or check out the lovely 1st Street Historic District of Sanford after our bike & walk.
Timing
Arrive as early as 8:30 a.m.; Ride will begin promptly at 9 a.m.
Equipment
Bring your own bike, no rentals are available.
